Painting of walls and ceilings

To paint or not to paint is an individual matter. Of course, it is best to “breathe”, i.e. absorb and give off moisture, a tree that is not covered with anything.
The worst thing with this will be a tree covered with a dense synthetic film.

For indoor walls, it will be enough to apply two layers of LEINOS oil.
After the first layer, irregularities in color and saturation will be noticeable. The second layer evens out the color.

Turns yellow. Stronger where direct sunlight falls. But in other places, yellowing will be noticeable in a few years

The walls, and even more so the ceilings in the rooms will serve for a long time, and 30 years is not the limit.

For painting indoors, White LEINOS varnish article No. 820 is used, it does not contain biocides.

Indeed, natural LEINOS oil penetrates deeper into the wood than synthetic compounds. This is its undoubted advantage.
At the same time, the pigment is not absorbed so deeply, it remains on the surface, bound with oil.

If the lining is not gray – blackened, but simply has a yellowish tint, then it can easily be given a light color.

Oil – azure art. 260 is created for painting facades, it is elastic and well withstands changes in the geometry of wood, repels water. And like all LEINOS compositions for the street, it contains an additive against the development of microorganisms. That is, it proactively protects against blueness and fungus.

Mesh is good for smooth surfaces, scotch – bright for curved ones. It is more convenient to work with a grid, but it is subjective. Mesh and scotch – bright are sold with ribbons 115mm wide, so the consumption should be taken into account in linear meters.

For painting indoors, two layers of oil are enough, no primer is required. The third layer is allowed if there is a difference in the color of the logs and for rooms with high humidity.

The presence and intensity of the smell depends on many factors. The smell in the jar and after application are felt differently and directly depends on the evaporation area. Natural oils in the composition of our products certainly have their own smell and in the process of drying you feel it in one way or another.

Texturing of wood is the allocation of annual rings, i.e. the manifestation of the structure of the tree. This is done with the help of abrasive or steel brushes.
