BRAND HISTORY SINCE 1985
Since 1985, products under the LEINOS brand have been manufactured in Germany by Reincke Naturfarben GmbH. Founded by chemist and pharmacist Helge Otwin Schumacher, the company set out to create high-quality paints that are harmless to both builders and consumers.
We use time-tested and proven safe raw materials for production, including plant-derived natural wood paint and formulations suitable for mineral surfaces, ensuring versatility and safety across all applications.
CERTIFICATION AND DECLARATION OF THE FULL COMPOSITION
In order for the buyer to be sure that he is buying a truly natural product, the manufacturer declares the full composition of its products, which is prescribed on each LEINOS label. The products are safe for people, animals and the environment both during application and throughout the entire operation time.
Manufacturer Reincke Naturfarben GmbH is a member of InVeNa, the German association of manufacturers of natural building materials, and undertakes to declare the full composition of all its products.

DAMMAR
It is considered one of the most valuable and beautiful plant resins on Earth. The bright, non-yellowing resin has a subtle and light smell. It is harvested from the Meranti tree in Sumatra. Reinke Naturfarben GmbH uses only the best and purest dammar varieties.
CARNAUBA WAX
The wax of the Brazilian carnauba palm is hard and water-repellent. It is used to increase the wear resistance of natural finishing materials. Reinke Naturfarben GmbH uses carnauba wax in combination with beeswax to create a perfectly durable coating.
LINSEED OIL
Linseed oil is the main component of natural wood paints. It provides high strength, elasticity and resistance of the coating to external influences. Reincke Naturfarben GmbH uses only purified linseed oil without additional impurities.
SHELLAC
Natural resin from the secretions of Indian woody insects. This raw material is collected from branches, filtered through a cloth, subjected to grinding, washing and drying to obtain a loose lacquer mass. Shellac creates a durable, wear-resistant coating.
clay
Reincke Naturfarben GmbH uses white clay to improve the microclimate in rooms with varying humidity. The manufacturer uses it in the production of wall coverings, because it absorbs and evaporates moisture well.
